Return & Refund Policy
1. Eligibility for Returns
At Mahendra Hardware, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction. Returns are accepted only for products that are defective, damaged, or incorrect at the time of delivery. The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and reported within 7 days of delivery. Requests received after this period may not be eligible for return or replacement.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items such as used products, opened packaging, plumbing consumables, custom-cut hardware, clearance items, and special orders are not eligible for return or exchange. We advise customers to review product specifications and compatibility carefully before making a purchase, especially for technical or size-sensitive products.
3. How to Request a Return
If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact our support team via WhatsApp or email within 7 days of delivery. Include your order ID, clear photos or video of the item, and a brief explanation of the issue. Our team will verify the issue and guide you through the return or replacement process.
4. Return Pickup & Shipping
In most cases, we arrange a reverse pickup through our courier partners. The product must be securely packed in its original box to avoid damage during transit. If pickup is unavailable in your area, we may request you to self-ship the item to our warehouse, and we will reimburse the courier cost upon verification.
5. Inspection & Approval
Once we receive the returned item, our quality inspection team will examine the product to confirm its condition. If the return is approved, a replacement will be dispatched, or a refund will be initiated based on your preference. If the item is found used, damaged, or not matching the return claim, it will be returned back to you without a refund.
6. Refund Timelines
Approved refunds are processed within 3 to 7 business days. Refunds are made to the original payment method used during checkout. For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, you will be asked to share your UPI ID or bank details for processing the refund. Delay in bank credit is subject to your payment provider and is beyond our control.
7. Cancellations
You may cancel your order before it is dispatched by contacting us. Once an order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled. For prepaid orders that are cancelled before dispatch, a full refund will be issued within 2 to 4 working days to your original payment source.
